OWNERS’ UPDATE – Thursday 17th June until further notice
This is the first fixture since the Welsh Government gave the go-ahead for the return of spectators but arrangements for owners remain similar to recent fixtures behind closed doors – but with one important improvement. We have introduced an additional option to take more owners’ badges – see below.
We will be locating owners taking Option A below in Bridles Restaurant and providing complimentary food and soft drinks – no alcohol can be served due to Welsh Government regulations.
Badges: We will offer two options for owners looking to attend this fixture (At this time, we are not in a position to blend the two options, but will review this as restrictions ease further).
Option A – All owners are eligible to claim a maximum of six owners’ badges, which will offer access to Bridles Restaurant. If you would like to take up this option, please register via the PASS system, as outlined below.
It is essential to register your attendance no later than 16:00 the day before racing using the Racecourse PASS System via www.rcapass.com. If you do not have access to the PASS System or need any assistance with its use, please contact the PASS Helpdesk on 01933 270333 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We regret that should you turn up on the day without prior registration you will not be permitted entry.
Option B – For any owner, or a syndicate, who would like to bring more guests or members, we are happy to allocate up to twelve General Admission badges. These will offer complimentary access to all of the public external areas of the racecourse. Alcohol be served in these areas because they are outside.
To utilise this option, please do not go through the PASS system, and contact us directly instead. You should email email@example.com with the name of your horse, time of your race, and a list of those you wish to attend no later than 16:00 the day before racing. It is imperative that all those listed are named, with an email address so that we can meet Track and Trace requirements. Anyone listed without these details may not be able to be permitted to the racecourse.
Also, please clearly note the lead person within the group or the syndicator, to whom Parade Ring access wristbands will be allocated on arrival.
All other guidance surrounding the day will be outlined in the PASS letter sent to owners upon declarations. If you have any queries, please e-mail Lucy Newman (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Ffos Las is committed to the use of the PASS administration system. We encourage all owners to pre-book their badges prior to the race day via this system rather than phoning or e-mailing the Racecourse Office. All you need to do is go to www.rcapass.com so you can get quick and efficient access to the course. If you have any further queries, contact Lydia.
Dai Jones is the Clerk of the Course and can be contacted on 07970828961.
The Going will be displayed on the home page information bar, and on the event page itself shortly before the event.
We have our on site accomodation - The Lodge - that is available for stable employees free of charge on the day before and day of each fixture at Ffos Las. This must be booked in advance.
Dedicated Owners & Trainers Car Park - dedicated entry is separate from the main car park and is clearly signposted before you enter the Racecourse.
