Here at Ffos Las Racecourse, we want to ensure that everyone who attends our racecourse has a fantastic day.
We have several facilities in place that hopefully make this easier for customers, which are each detailed below. You can also download our full Accessibility Guide via the below button.
If you have any concerns, or require further assistance, please contact a member of our team and we can make all necessary arrangements for your visit.
All pathways at Ffos Las Racecourse are suitable for wheelchair users, but there are some steep areas where guests may require some additional assistance. The racecourse has an additional accessible entrance, allowing easier access for wheelchair users, pushchairs and visitors with working dogs.
The entrance from the car park to the racecourse is one level. Once inside, the paths slope around the grounds, where extra assistance will be required.
There are no steps for access to all areas, except for Bridles Restaurant, which you can access via a service lift.
There are large areas of grassed areas around the racecourse, where wheelchair users will need to take extra care, as the ground is soft.
We have allocated accessible viewing areas, which cannot be reserved. We ask that only one Personal Assistant accompanies the racegoer in these areas.
There is seating available around the racecourse, however, for guests who find it difficult to stand for long periods, we recommend you bring a folding chair to guarantee yourself a seat.
The Grandstand has raised viewing areas that are close to the finish line.
Please note that Bridles Restaurant and our Private Hospitality Suites all have balconies that are suitable for wheelchair users.
If you require a personal assistant to accompany you on a visit to Ffos Las Racecourse, we can provide them with free admission, which can be claimed with any full price paid ticket by a guest with accessible needs.
To claim a personal assistant ticket, the paying guest will need to present proof of accessible needs on the day of their visit e.g. Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or signed letter from GP (with accompanying photo ID). Please speak to a member of staff on the turnstiles about claiming your free personal assistant badge.
For personal assistant tickets, it is advised to contact the racecourse team at least 24 hours in advance with your name and details of the fixture you wish to attend. Please note the tickets are subject to availability.
We are delighted to welcome service animals to Ffos Las Racecourse. These include Registered Guide Dogs, Hearing Dogs and Medical Alert Animals.

All pathways to food outlets at Ffos Las Racecourse are accessible to wheelchair users, if further assistance is required on the day, please ask a member of the team.
If you need to feed your baby and prefer to do this away from the public, nursing mothers can use a private room in our reception office. Please advise a member of the team on arrival if this is required.
Guests attending hospitality are asked to advise of special dietary requirements in advance. General Admission guests that require information on food allergies and special dietary needs will need to speak directly to a member of the catering team on the day of their visit.
There are a number of accessible toilets across our racecourse:
Main Entrance – located in the building directly on the left, through the turnstiles.
Grandstand – located on the ground level in Blinkers and in Bridles on the first floor.
McCoy’s – located to the right of the room as you enter through the main doors.
Owners & Trainers – located in the bar area before entering the restaurant.
If you require first aid attention from our on-site medical team including paramedics, please head to the First Aid Point.
