There are a multitude of ways to travel to Ffos Las Racecourse. When we asked Mike Parcej, a friend of the racecourse and passionate horse racing fan, here's what he had to say:
"To get public transport from Monday to Saturday, Llanelli is the station to aim for. This is on the main line from Swansea to Carmarthen. These trains from the west begin at Milford Haven, and are on the route via Haverfordwest and Whitland, if you are travelling from West Wales. Swansea is accessible from the trains from Paddington, Cardiff being the interchange for services to Manchester, and Bristol Parkway from the North and South. However sadly there are no buses on Sundays, so best to get off the Carmarthen train at Kidwelly, which is two stops further from Llanelli towards Carmarthen. Would recommend The Daily Planet Taxis on 01554 811811 to get you the two miles from Kidwelly to the track on Sundays, or an hour's walk. Bus wise Monday to Saturday, The No. 197 bus from Llanelli Bus Station departs at 7.20, 9.20, 11.20, 13.20, 15.20, 17.20 and 18.20, and from Carmarthen at 8.20, 10.20, 12.20, 14.20 and 16.20. All stop outside the racecourse."
