Owners & Trainers

Owners, Syndicates and Shared Ownerships can request up to 8 complimentary O&T badges per runner via our PASS system. These give you access to the Oscar Whiskey Restaurant and includes a complimentary luncheon- our little way of saying thank you!

If you’re part of a larger Syndicate, you can request a minimum of 20 syndicate badges with access to our Syndicates Marquee.

Please note, you’ll need to select either our O&T badges or the Syndicate badges as we do not offer a mix of the two types of badges.

Up to eight owners per horse can join us in the Parade Ring, however, if you’d like to bring a few more, just get in touch beforehand- we’ll always try to help where we can, though extra spaces may be limited.

The Oscar Whiskey Restaurant, hosted by Hannah Cowdrey, is reserved exclusively for Owners & Trainers with runners on a Raceday. Conveniently located next to the Parade Ring, it offers complimentary luncheon and afternoon cakes (with a valid voucher) along with tea & coffee, as well as a full bar and tote service. If you have any specific dietary or allergen requirements- we’d love to assist! Please contact us in advance of the day you plan to visit by emailing kmansell@arcowners.co.uk.

Please be advised that we do not accept table reservations in O&T Dining. We politely ask that when you finish dining, please be considerate and vacate or offer to share your table with other O&T. This helps us ensure that all guests have an enjoyable experience.

We encourage all Syndicates & Shared ownerships to enjoy our exclusive Syndicate Marquee, featuring fantastic views overlooking the Parade Ring.

This offers those with Syndicate Badges on the day (must be booked in advance) a private base to enjoy with fellow syndicate and ownership members including complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits with an additional bar and light food offering.

On your arrival, please park in the Owners & Trainers Car Park and head for the Owners & Trainers Entrance located just next to the Owners and Trainers Restaurant. Here you will meet our team member, Maggie Watts Jones, who looks forward to welcoming you, and will provide each of you with your badges and day briefing.

Did you know that Ffos Las Racecourse boasts free Wi-Fi? Easy to access, you can register to use our onsite Wi-Fi when visiting the O&T areas and Syndicate Marquee. Once you’ve registered for Wi-Fi at one of the Arena Racing Company (ARC) racecourses, you will automatically have access each time you visit one of the 16 racecourses.

We care deeply about the wellbeing and safety of all jockeys and horses at Ffos Las Racecourse.

Our brilliant groundstaff work hard all year round to make sure the track is in the best possible condition, because a safe, consistent surface is essential for everyone taking part.

On Racedays, we’ve got a fantastic team of highly trained doctors, vets and paramedics on hand, closely following every race and ready to respond as and when needed. You’ll also see a horse ambulance and veterinary facility located onsite, ensuring we provide fast, expert care.

If you spot screens being put up during a race, please don’t panic – it’s standard practise. It simply gives the vets and medics a calm, private space to do what they need to do safely and with care.

From the Stable Yard to the Parade Ring, we’re always working to reduce risks and aim to make sure every horse and jockey is cared for with the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.

We do not operate a dress code at Ffos Las, however sporting team shirts and fancy dress that can be deemed inappropriate or offensive will result in declined admission. We have full details on our dress code and what to wear to Ffos Las Racecourse on our dedicated Dress Code page.

At Ffos Las, there is a designated area in the grandstand specifically for Owners and Trainers to watch the races.

For those unable to join us, all racing from Ffos Las is broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing Channel 415.

Owners with horses taking part in a race may gain access to the Parade Ring for each race they are participating in.

We allocate eight Parade Ring badges per runner, and we try to be flexible where we can if we receive requests in advance for additional Parade Ring passes. However, please note additional badges are not guaranteed.

Children who are aged under 12 are not allowed within the Parade Ring.

Winning owners and trainers are welcome to join us in our Winning connections Conservatory to watch a re-run of their race. Hosted by Cally Lewis, here you can celebrate with a glass of Monopole Champagne, a selection of light bites and of course, our traditional Welsh Cakes.

A presentation is made to every winning Owner & Trainer, who may then choose their preferred memento, including a complimentary photograph. For those who are not present on the day, the memento will be handed to your Trainer or a representative.

We offer winning, placed and all Owners on the day complimentary USB copies of their race. Multiple copies are available should syndicates or stable staff require them.

Ffos Las Racecourse features The Lodge, a lovely accommodation site which has been recently refurbished. The Lodge is exclusively used by stable staff on specific Racedays, or if you would prefer to stay in one of our nearby hotels or B&Bs, you can find more details on this via our Where to Stay page.

We make all announcements about inspections or the abandonment of racing or races via Racing Admin and our social media channels @FfosLasRacecourse including Facebook, X and Instagram.

At Ffos Las, we’re always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback means the world to us. Whether it’s a kind word, helpful suggestion or something we could do better, we really do listen.

On Racedays, feedback postcards and ROA QR codes are provided in all O&T facilities.

A William Hill betting Shop is located inside Blinkers Bar. Additionally, there are a few Tote windows around the racecourse, including in the O&T bar.

On-course Bookmakers also operate outside to the front and side of the Grandstand.

We provide priority, reserved parking for Owners & Trainers in the main car park off Culla Road. Please follow the direction of our parking stewards and signage on the day you visit.

If you’re using a Sat Nav to get to us, the postcode is SA17 4DE and if you use What Three Words it is ATTENDING.LEFT.FENCING for Ffos Las Racecourse.

We provide forward parking spaces for Accessibility and Blue Badges. These are offered on a first come, first served basis. For any accessibility requests, please contact the Racecourse Office in advance on 01554 811092.

Ffos Las Racecourse operates as a cashless site. Bookmakers do still allow cash payments, and cashback can be obtained from the Tote.

All winning owners will receive a complimentary photo.

A Going Report for all Ffos Las race days is made seven days before each fixture and updated via TurfTrax.

Ffos Las is a family-friendly racecourse and all children accompanied by an adult are welcome in our O&T facilities.

We offer a maximum of two places to children aged under 12 which includes a luncheon, and for those aged over 12, they will be considered as part of an Owner's badge allocation on the day and will require an O&T badge and luncheon voucher for access.

If the O&T menu is not suitable for your child, please speak to a member of the team and we will be happy to arrange an alternative.

The O&T restaurant and Syndicate Marquee are both wheelchair friendly. There are also accessible viewing areas overlooking the finishing straight and Parade Ring.
