Below is some useful information to help you prepare ahead of the event.
EVENT TIMINGS:
4:00pm – Gates, fairground, food outlets and bars open
5:00pm – Peppa Pig meet & greet
6:00pm – Low Noise Fireworks Display
6:15pm – Swiftly Taylor Live
7:00pm – Last Entry / Gates Close Please ensure you arrive before 7:00pm, as no entry will be permitted after this time.
8:00pm – Main Fireworks Display
8:15pm – Oasish Live
9:30pm – Event Ends
PARKING
Car parking is free at Ffos Las for the event (1500 spaces) , but they are made available on a first come first served basis so please make sure you get here early to get your space.
WEATHER
Please check the local forecast before departing and dress accordingly. Wrap up warm and bring waterproofs as this is an outdoor event with limited indoor space.
FOOD & DRINK
A range of bars and food outlets are available serving tasty bonfire night snacks and drinks. A range of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that no food, drink or picnics can be brought into the racecourse. Picnics are not allowed at the venue for this event.
SECURITY
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.
Please be patient and limit the bags you bring. Remember, no food or drink can be brought into the racecourse (unless needed for allergies and dietaries and then please call us ahead).
We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.
OTHER INFORMATION
We are proud to be accessible friendly at Ffos Las, and we have key Wheelchair accessible viewpoints based at the front of the grandstand.
Our grandstand which is the perfect place to watch the displays, are standing terraces only, however there are seating in both Blinkers Bar and McCoys bars available.
We have public toilets in our reception block , Blinkers bar and McCoys suite plus a separate temporary toilet block available on the evening for you to use.
All those who have booked Premier Viewing will be based in Bridles Restaurant which is upstairs in the grandstand.
Finally, please note you are allowed to bring your own camping chairs and please do not take the chairs from both bars outside to watch the display.
Payment
Please remember we are a cashless venue, apart from the fair rides.
Dogs
With the exception of Assistance Dogs, dogs are not permitted to enter the racecourse. In the interests of animal welfare, no dogs are permitted to be left in cars and Ffos Las Racecourse politely request that all dogs are left at home.
Concessions
At this event, no student, OAP or other concessions will be available.
Sparklers
For health and safety reasons, no sparklers or other lit fireworks can be brought into the racecourse.
