Ffos Las Community Race Day – Sunday 25th Sept. 2022
On Sunday 25th September Ffos Las Racecourse is proud to hold its first ever Community Race Day, at which your local racecourse is inviting non-profit community organisations to take the opportunity to promote themselves free of charge to our racegoers, on what historically has been a busy race day.
Every organisation who attends this unique opportunity will receive the following:
- A 6 ft table and two chairs placed in a prominent position at the racecourse which becomes your organisation’s base for the day to help promote yourselves to the racegoers during the day
- (Please note should we encounter bad weather on the day all organisations will be based undercover in the McCoy’s Suite)
- Every organisation taking part will receive 20 tickets for the day to give out to your members, or sell on to make revenue (pre booked admission price for the day is £10 so you could make £200 for your organisation), and 4 tickets to staff your stall on the day
- The only thing we ask is that you don’t use your stall to sell raffle tickets etc, it is more about awareness and letting the local community know what you are doing
- We will also place a bouncy castle and basic children’s entertainment giving something for all the family to enjoy.
- We would need you set up by 11am on the day for 11.30am gates opening, and then from 1.30pm we have seven great flat races for our racegoers to enjoy
